Production Manager to Cheil Nordic

You will be a part of the Account Management team with three Account Directors and three Production Managers. As a Production Manager, you will work in a dynamic environment.

The Role

 

As a Production Manager you are responsible for leading the charge and you should have the ability to produce complex interactive and retail projects. The position requires the ability to coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams, prioritize project tasks and a firm understanding of interactive best practices.  

 

You must thrive on problem solving and collaboration as well as a desire to create and manage highly compelling interactive and retail experiences.  You also need to be passionate about digital and emerging technologies.  We are looking for you who have experience from retail, interior and/or design projects with focus on coordination of production are important. The role requires a strong desire to be an active contributor to both strategic and creative discussions. A drive to lead and coordinate with production vendors are also required for the role. 

 

You must possess a working knowledge of all components of interactive work from information architecture to server deployment with retail or interior experience. You also need to have knowledgeable of various Web technologies such as HTML, and JavaScript to effectively communicate with vendors and staff and to properly spec out and manage project components. 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Work with other disciplines (Account Management, Strategy, Creative, Digital etc.) to determine scopes and project requirement

  • Define resource needs and create project budgets, plans and timelines

  • Team with internal legal to cover the legal aspects of a project and client

  • Manage internal functions and external partners

  • Prioritize project tasks and manage independent deliverables of the project team to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget

  • Select, coordinate, negotiate and manage efforts of outside vendors

  • Manage content creation, asset collection and organization

  • Manage production of interior for retail as displays and shop in shops. Be able to lead print production and handling storage for material.

  • Manage quality assurance and testing efforts

  Job Specifications / qualifications

  • 5+ yrs. experience managing interactive projects and coordinating the efforts of cross functional teams

  • An excellent understanding of the industry and production landscape, great network of vendors and specialists for various tasks.

  • Proven track record of launching cutting-edge interactive projects

  • High level of knowledge and experience in web development and digital campaign execution/coordination

  • Experience and knowledge regarding how to lead a production of interior and POS material for retail.

  • Experience managing and negotiating with client’s external partners

  • To be collaborative and team orientated

  • To be self-motivated and driven

  • Have a motivational. mentoring and encouraging approach

  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and meet tight deadlines

  • Experience using scheduling and project management software tools

  • Excellent written, verbal, time management and communication skills to both creative individuals and clients alike.
