As the Nordic Head of Performance Marketing, you will ensure that we present our offering to our customers in a lucrative manner, and support customers finding their way to the our care and great coverages. You will be an important player driving our digital sales both to the B2C and B2B customers and working together with our brand and media teams to strive for singular brand experience.

About the role

 

The Nordic Marketing team ensures that the If brand is in customers minds and contributes to increased brand consideration and preference. When potential customers are in the market, we are cost effective in guiding them to purchases via our digital channels. Our strategies and decisions are science driven, and we are at the forefront in advertising technology, creativity, operations, and delivery. Nordic Marketing leader team consists of 3 key people, Head of brand advertising, Head of Media and you, the Head of performance marketing. Performance marketing team is the largest team in the marketing unit, and leading the team is heavily concentrated in implementation of our creative and media strategy operationally in the lower funnel marketing. The lead of the team is also an important stakeholder in further iterations of our current strategies.

As the leader of the performance marketing unit, you make sure the Nordic and local digital sales targets are met through coordinated marketing activities in countries. You lead the Performance marketing team consisting of competence leads and teams of Marketing business management, Digital marketing, Performance media buying and Performance marketing creative. As part of the position, you act also operationally in leading one of our agile Tribes. Together with the competence leads, their teams and If analysts, you develop If marketing reporting.

Who are you?

You love to work for an established strong brand, but you are primarily driven by creating efficiency, both operationally and in ROI-creation, within the performance marketing domain. Your ambition is to create traffic and sales through varied activities in different internal and external channels together with a Nordic team of cross functional talent. You have a genuine passion to drive business results in digital channels close to business as well as co-operating tightly with your colleagues within other sections of the marketing department. You have an understanding of both B2B and B2C performance marketing, usage digital marketing, customer communication, search both in supporting SEO traffic as well as SEM. We don’t expect you to be the expert of everything, but require you to be able to lead, inspire and find the best ways of optimizing our digital traffic creation in a wide channel mix, and to support our growing digital business. You also have genuine interest or knowledge regarding ad tech and marketing analytics and reporting. You love leading people and operations on a Nordic level, and feel comfortable with representing the team in English in multiple different business forums. You are a servant leaders, who excels in coaching and inspiring your team to succeed, while not being afraid of giving helpful and timely feedback. 

  

You also have:

·       Relevant academic degree

·       Proven track record of successful delivery towards sales targets and growth (sales experience seen as a benefit)

·       Proven ability to lead a successful data-driven performance marketing in B2C and/or B2B

·       Experience of leading a Nordic/international team

·       Ability to find synergies between marketing, CRM, search (paid and non-paid) and site development

·       Experience in co-operation with internal or external media and creative agencies to strive for performance and creative excellence

·       Experience in budgeting and forecasting

·       Experience in building and developing performance analytics and reporting together with analysts (e.g. marketing mix modelling)

·       Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

·       Knowledge of insurance business seen as a benefit
