Head of Design Seventy

Seventy is looking for our new Head of Design who will develop and grow our talented Design team, further shape our approach and offerings in design and experiences, and be part of helping our clients to make a purposeful difference. This is a key role for Seventy and you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and be part of our exciting journey to build a new breed of brand and business design agency.

ARE YOU WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As Head of Design, you will lead our team of diverse and talented designers and will also be part of the management team. The Design team is around 20 people and consists of visual designers, interaction designers, art directors, copywriters, motion creatives and more. In all client projects, we work in cross-functional teams with strategists, integrated producers, clients, etc. so a close collaboration with other teams is also part of the role.

You will be a leading force in raising the bar of our creative output, from idea to execution. As Head of Design you will also play a key role in shaping and developing Seventy’s offerings in Design and creativity, and be involved in various client projects and pitches. 

We are looking for someone who is a curious team player and a strong creative leader who can develop the team, our ways of working and our offering in Design and Experience. The right candidate has a strong design portfolio, expertise in brand design, and a solid experience in leading multi-disciplinary design teams. As Head of Design, you have an interest for and understanding of both technology and business strategy and have a passion for how design can be leveraged to drive change and growth for companies.

WE THINK THAT YOU

●      Are an inspiring and skilled creative leader 

●      A curious team player with strong people skills

●      Have solid leadership experience having managed teams

●      Have core expertise in Brand Design and a good understanding in UX/UI

●      Have 5+ years experience from an agency or a consultancy

●      Have 7+ years of experience in building of designing brand experience 

●      Are used to work under tight time constraints

●      Are a confident presenter in client pitches and meetings

●      Are used to working in multi-functional teams with business strategists and other competence areas

●      Have an interest for and good understanding of business and how to drive change at clients through design and creativity 

●      Have a strong interest in new technologies and how new tech can be leveraged to design and create new customer experiences and change ways of working

●      Have an educational background with a degree in Design or Creativity
