As Brand advertising project manager, you will ensure that our paid brand advertising processes and deliverables are of high quality, in line with defined strategic objectives, creative strategy and brand identity. You will manage and develop high quality Nordic brand advertising together with If’s brand advertising team and partners and independently manage defined brand projects and productions from brief to final production.

About the role

Our Nordic Marketing team is responsible for building long-term brand attraction as well as contributing to short-term sales. Our Brand advertising team works to strengthen the If brand in all Nordic markets; strategically, creatively and operationally implementing If’s brand marketing strategy. Our work targets a broad customer base, builds a distinct brand position and drives cross-category consideration for If. Our creative concept ‘If helps a lot’ is a big part of our marketing effectiveness and success. Moving forward, we also aim to expand our CSR initiatives as a brand.

As Brand advertising project manager, you will contribute with project- and production management skills in creative development of our Nordic brand advertising. You will manage projects and processes with external creative and production partners, internal teams and stakeholders and media partners. You will project lead market-specific brand and CSR initiatives, with defined campaign objectives, and synchronize with other parts of Brand Marketing and Communication.

Together with our Brand advertising production manager, you will also contribute to developing ways of working to operatively manage new initiatives, media and format developments, brand advertising assets, alignment with other teams etc. The work includes a broad range of smaller and larger tasks in project leadership and process ownership.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a person with a strong operational profile and the ability to translate strategic direction into concrete, high-quality executions that create measurable brand and business value. You proactively drive processes and stakeholder relations, make smart and pragmatic decisions, and ensure that marketing efforts clearly contribute to commercial impact.

About the team

We are a Nordic marketing team with colleagues in all Nordic countries. The brand advertising team is located in the Bergshamra office and currently consists of three people: Head of Brand advertising, Brand advertising project manager and Brand advertising production manager. The team works in close collaboration with Head of Brand Marketing and Communication, Head of Marketing and the Nordic Media and Insight team.Our team leads our major annual advertising process and creative production for all Nordic markets, as well as additional market-specific brand campaigns and initiatives in paid media. Our team’s core objective is to develop and deliver high-quality brand creatives for broad reach media plans in all Nordic markets, in sync with business priorities, brand insights and media and creative effectiveness. We are also hoping for our new colleague to help plan and independently run additional smaller or more flexible brand productions, e.g. with CSR objectives. Who are you?

You are a person who wants to work with an established strong brand and implement and mindfully evolve communication long-term. In this, you understand that process, project and production management makes all the difference for creative outcome. You enjoy working operatively and hands-on from objectives and brief to final delivery, with genuine interest in creative processes and production details. Ensuring high quality end-results is important to you, and you have an eye for messaging distinctiveness and visual execution. You feel comfortable working independently but also understand the importance of on-going synchronization with multiple parties in a large organization.

You are able to make operative decisions within the framework of given strategies and guidelines and know when to involve your strategist for brand, messaging and creative direction. You are comfortable to manage internal and external relations, even if difficult feedback must be given to ensure the best results. As a person you are unprestigious and value a small team where we help each other out. You understand the need for cross-functional collaboration and are happy to lead Nordic projects.

You also have:

• Academic degree and 3 to 5 years’ work experience, preferably client -and agency side

• A clear understanding of how marketing creates commercial value and contributes to business performance

• Knowledge of today's communication landscape and understanding of brand advertising effectiveness

• Experience in project and production management for brand advertising in paid media, incl. visual ID

• Ability to lead creative development towards given objectives, incl. analyzing and defining needs

• Experience in project set-up, key stakeholders, process coordination, feedback and quality control

• Capability to prioritize tasks, manage resources and define clear action plans

• Ability to independently manage agency briefing, budget- and project dialogue

• Contract negotiation with production agencies in defined projects

• Structured and engaging presentation skills is seen as a plus

• Fluent in Swedish, strong communication skills in English, other Nordic languages seen as a plus.
